You shouldn't have to explain your whole life before the healing starts.

A therapy group for Arab and Lebanese women — led by Dr. Takla

In Arab and Lebanese families, we're often taught that strength means staying quiet. That you handle things inside the family, not in front of strangers. That asking for support is a sign of weakness.

Carrying everything alone has a cost — and you already know that, or you wouldn't be here.

This group is for women who are ready to put that weight down, in a room where no one needs the cultural context explained.

Dr. Takla is an EMDR therapist and Lebanese woman who has spent her career working with the specific traumas that live in our community — intergenerational pain, displacement, the pressure of being "the good daughter."

This group is built around that shared experience. The group is not open yet. Join the waitlist and you'll be the first to know when it forms. Your interest also helps shape what the group looks like — so reaching out now matters.
